Q&A with Joanne Harris

First of all, we must thank Joanne for agreeing to this insanity.

Joanne Harris is the acclaimed writer of Chocolat. The sequel is called The Lollipop Shoes and she has just submitted Peaches For Monsieur Le Curé, the third novel featuring some of the same characters from both and which is due for publication at the end of May 2012.

So I finally got round to reading Ender's Game. It's a very well-known and widely celebrated novel, and is currently being made into a film, with the screenplay being adapted from the novel by Card himself.

'Chocolat' by Joanne Harris

Having Chocolat as the first joint-reader for our book meetings was the perfect excuse for me to read it again. It’s been one of my favourite novels since it was first published in 1999 and I picked up a proof copy of it when I worked in a bookshop in Portsmouth.
